Business Transformation By Design - High customer expectations and speed-to-market pressures are overwhelming traditional operating models as the marketplace experiences a digital transformation. I was invited to open the EY Design Studio branch in Brazil to lead the company in helping organizations in their Business Transformations through Design-Led Innovation, Customer Experience, and Service Design.
In 2015, the company opened its first innovation center in the US and I was invited to open the innovation center in Brazil to develop new projects through human-centered design, for the country and the Latin American region. I was responsible for launching the open innovation platform in the country and the company's first acceleration program. As the leader of the innovation center, I delivered projects such as connected cars, urban mobility, digital wallet, instant payments, and new digital solutions for financial organizations.
Welab´s motto is: "Good services are those that deliver good experiences". Welab was a pioneering consultancy in Brazil in the application of strategic thinking in service design for companies such as Samsung, Boticário, Mondeléz, Itaú, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Mapfre Insurance, and others. I was the Design Director and led the design team in both Curitiba and São Paulo.
Leading innovation institute in Brazil, responsible for new technology projects for companies such as Samsung, HP, Dell, Positivo Informática, Electrolux, Whirlpool, and LG, among others. I contributed to the creation of the CESAR Usability Laboratory, the UX process, the team's professional career, and the CESAR Innovation Process (PIC) which won the FINEP Award for the Most Innovative Research Institution in Brazil (2010).
This consultancy was responsible for serving the major advertising agencies in the south of the country, and through them developed large digital design projects for brands such as Boticário, GVT, Bom Jesus Group, FAE Business School, BS Colway Tires, and others. My role was to manage the entire design process from user research, information architecture, interface design, usability testing, and implementation.
Global Telecom was a pioneer in digital services, mobile games, and Alternative Reality Games (ARG). I coordinated the web services and new products in the Marketing department. I was responsible for leading the integration of all web systems and digital services from Global Telecom (until Apr.2003) and other telecoms that formed Vivo Telecom.
Paraná Design Center (nowadays Brazil Design Center) was the pioneer to ignite Design Thinking in Brazil. More than 100 Brazilian companies were impacted by two business design programs. This design center was the first of its kind to be established in Brazil and the first one to center its performance around business and consumer needs.
The company was one of the trailblazers of the Internet in Brazil, responsible for the first websites of some of the most important brands in the market: HSBC, ALL, Boticário, Renault, IBPT, Schooner, Lagoon, and others. I was responsible for the entire design process as well as information architecture, usability tests, user interface design/interaction design, and software development.
